I have been part of our parish for my entire life. My wife Vicki and I are parents to Sophie, a Year 8 student
I am the Business Manager at Burnside High School, a general management role on the schools Senior Leadership Team with overview of many business, finance and office functions, including the Aurora Centre for Performing Arts.
I also bring a further background in the educational leadership sector with twelve years experience within tertiary education, being involved in student recruitment and events management, along with student advisory and support roles.
Serving on Board of Trustees has taught me much regarding governance and systems within Catholic education and given me a broad perspective on what student achievement means and requires.
After being appointed to the Establishment Board, I have been chosen as a Proprietors representative and proudly serve as Board Chair for the 2016 year. I believe in building a strong foundation to equip St. Francis of Assisi School to succeed and flourish long into the future and hope to contribute to our ongoing success.
I have two sons who attended St Pauls School and I myself attended Our Lady of Fatima School along with my siblings and later extended family members. I have served on the Board of St Pauls School, as both a Parent and then as Proprietors Representative, and since late 2013 also on the Our Lady of Fatima School Board. My family has lived and served in the parish for over 50 years.
I am employed fulltime in the Tertiary Education sector where I currently work in a role supporting and working collaboratively with a wide range of people. In my spare time I operate a small direct marketing business where I train and mentor other women. Previous experience includes roles in the Government sector, in administration with an early childhood education provider and as a long-term volunteer with several Community groups.
I am committed to the formation of a new school to serve our St Francis of Assisi parish community - a school that will deliver a catholic education of the highest standard.
